inside of buildingSouthern Craft Creamery (SCC) owners, Dale and Cindy Eade have been making ice cream since 2012.  SCC was strictly a wholesale business up until December 2017 which is when the doors opened for their first retail store located at 2884 Jefferson Street in downtown Marianna.  They have been extremely happy and grateful for the amount of support the Marianna community has shown them.  SCC is not only a local business but their product is manufacturer locally as well.  The essential ingredient, MILK is supplied from the owners very own dairy farm, Cindale Farms, located on Old U.S. Road in Marianna.  Every morning milk is brought from the farm to create the ice cream at the Creamery.  SCC uses as many other local providers for their ingredients as possible.  For example, Satsumas from Cherokee Farms in Jackson County; Tupelo Honey from Longbeard Hives in Calhoun County; Pecans from Pensacola; Coffee beans roasted in Panama City Beach; Strawberries from Floral City, FL.

The Eades enjoy sharing their story and talking about their dairy farm with customers.  They believe it is very important to help bridge the gap from farmer to consumer to give people a little more information about where their food comes from.

Cindale Farms hosts an Open House every year where the public is invited to come tour the farm to meet the cows that provide them with the fresh, delicious milk for their ice cream.
