There was a misprint in the bid advertisement on the opening and closing dates. The correct dates are below and will be corrected in the Sunday advertisement.
Bid process begins August 3, 2009 8am
Bids must be submitted by 2pm August 10, 2009
Bids will be opened at 2:30pm August 10, 2009 at City Hall
To address a couple of immediate questions, this project includes the purchase of a vendor specific, Cisco Call Manager Express VOIP phone system, with phones, installation/configuration, and training of end users. The network will be upgraded and certified prior to and will not be a part of this bid. We have an itemized list of materials needed. The bid should contain a price for materials and installation/training. One of the requirements in the bid specifications is that the company must have a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert in Voice on staff. This cannot be sub-contracted out. A statement to that affect is required when submitting the bid.
