The City of Marianna is holding a special fundraiser for this winter season.
The City of Marianna is holding a special fundraiser which is scheduled on Friday, December 10, 2010 between the hours of 11 am until the last plate is sold at Marianna Fire Rescue on Clinton Street. All proceeds raised will be used to purchase winter items such as blankets, snuggies, winter socks, slippers, gloves, beanies and etc. to help assist underprivileged senior citizens and school aged children (pre-k thru 12) during this winter season. The City will be consulting closely with Jackson County Senior Citizens, local schools and other similar type organizations. Orders will be taken for delivery or pick up.
