Services and Fees
Utility Billing Information
The Utility Billing Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Bills are mailed on the last working day of the month and due upon receipt. Customers not receiving a Utility Bill by the 5th of the month should call our office for the amount due. Questions regarding a Utility Bill should be handled as soon as possible. Please do not wait until the cut off day (the 20th of the month).
Establishing a New Service
The City of Marianna supplies water, sewage, gas and garbage services where available. New customers must come into our office to pay deposits. The customer is required to present a rent receipt or lease agreement, a picture I.D. and social security number.
Service Turn on/off Policy
All orders for gas/water turn on/off if made before 2:00 pm will be done the same day. If done after 2:00 it will be turned on/off the next day. Please have someone present to have service turned on.
Payment
Utility Bills must be paid in full by the 15th of the month. If paid after the 15th a $10.00 late fee will be charged to the account. If the account balance is over $100.00, a late fee 10% of the total will be charged. Please bring Utility Bills when making payments. For customer convenience, there are two drop boxes available for after hours payments at the following locations.
- Parking lot at City Hall
- Entrance to Public Works Department on South Street
Cut-Off For Non Payment
The Cut-Off date for accounts not paid in full is the 20th of each month. A disconnect fee plus bill amount must be paid to have service cut back on.
Discontinued Service
To discontinue service the customer must come in to sign the work order and provide us with a forwarding address. Deposits are applied against the final bill. Service turn offs cannot be done over the phone. Please allow 30 days for refund and final bill.
Transfer of Service
To transfer service the customer must come in to the office to sign a work order. Service transfers cannot be done over the phone. There is a $10.00 fee to transfer all services. The current bill must be paid prior to transferring service.
Returned Checks
When a check is returned by the bank, service is immediately turned off. Notification is not sent out to customers regarding a returned check. Return check fees are amount of check plus a return check charge: under $50=$25.00 fee, $50-$300=$30.00 fee over $300=$40.00 fee.

Marianna Police Department Finger Printing Fee(s) Policy
It is the policy of the Marianna Police Department to collect fees for specifically defined services. Those fees for services will be set at a rate agreed upon by the Chief of Police, the City Manager, and approved by the City Commission. Those fees will be subject to annual review and modification during each yearly budgetary process
The current set rate of fee for inked finger prints per card will be: $5.00 Dollars for City of Marianna residents and $10.00 Dollars for non residents. Additionally, finger printing will only be available from 8:00AM to 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday to match the cashier clerk's regularly scheduled hours.
The Marianna Police Department will only provide finger print services to customers who arrive at the Marianna Police Department with a paid in full valid receipt as described above. The Marianna Police Department will only provide inked finger print services to adults (18 years or older); except for passport purposes, or by court requirement; when a minor is accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
PROCEDURE:
The designated cashier at the City of Marianna Clerks Office will receive the above described fee from the customer and then dispense a receipt to the customer. The receipt shall clearly be marked with the date, the words "Finger Print Service," and the name of the person to be finger printed. The customer will be directed to the Marianna Police Department for the finger printing services.
