Marianna Fire-Rescue will be presenting
Marianna Fire -Rescue will be presenting a Fire Safety Fun Day on Saturday, October 9, 2010 between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the fire station located at 4425 Clinton St., Marianna, Florida. You are invited to a day of fun for the whole family. The Fire Safety Fun Day will have educational activities that include fire truck tours, fire extinguisher and vehicle extrication demos, JCFR Fire Safety Smoke House, JCFR Blood Pressure Checks, and a Division of Forestry truck display. Fire Prevention and Kid Safety materials such as Junior Firefighter and Kid ID Kits will be given out to children and their parents. We also invite you to come see our firefighter clowns who enjoy entertaining and educating kids about fire safety. Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear will also be there to educate the kids on fire prevention. A Bounce House, Slide, Dunking Booth, Minute to Win It Games, and the National Guard Rock Wall will be provided for entertainment for all who attend. Free refreshments such as drinks, hamburgers, popcorn, and boiled peanuts will be served. There will be many opportunities to take pictures, so bring your camera and enjoy a fun filled day of fire safety for all ages.
