Open enrollment for the City is once a year for health and dental insurance changes in September. For other supplemental coverage it is semi-annually.

The City of Marianna engages in the services of the One Stop Career Centers for advertising for open positions and handling the completion of our application process excluding the police and fire departments. Please find attached the City's employment application that can be completed for all positions except for our public safety employees. When completed the application can be taken to the your local One Stop Career Center for further processing.

Retirement - The City is a member of the Florida State Retirement System (FRS). This is available only to general employees. Fire and Police are not eligible.

JULY 2010

The City of Marianna Employee of the Month for July 2010 is Wallie Kiel who is employed in the Clerk's office as a Meter Reader II. Wallie has been employed with the City for 24 years. He is a true assest to the City. MHRC's Employee of the Month is Monica Rich who is employed as a Certified Nursing Aide in the Nursing Department.
