2012 MAIN STREET’S ST. PATRICK’S DAY FESTIVAL AND FIRE TRUCK PULL
SATURDAY, MARCH 17, 2012
1:00 – 6:00 PM AT MADISON STREET PARK
Main Street has set the date for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival! This year’s event will take place on St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17th. Main Street Marianna and the Marianna Fire Department are teaming up with Marianna High School 2012 Project Graduation for the St. Patrick’s Day Festival! There will be live entertainment, the Bittersweet Blues Band
(check out their new website at www.bittersweetbluesband.com ), Arts & crafts and food vendors and a blow-up slide and bounce house for the children. This year there will be a Fire Truck Pull in place of the Bed Races. Entries are being sought for the first annual Fire Truck Pull that involves a ten member team pulling the fire truck 20 feet with a rope. The registration fee for the Fire Truck Pull is $15.00 per team member which includes an event T-shirt. Main Street hopes families, churches, youth groups, civic organizations and businesses will get a ten member team together and enter the Fire Truck Pull. Trophies and prizes will be awarded! This is an annual fundraising event for Main Street Marianna. Get a ten member team together and come out for great competitive fun.
Main Street is also looking for quality craft and food vendors for the St. Patrick’s Day Festival that will begin at 1:00 PM at Madison Street Park.
