Marianna Fire Rescue receives Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Grant

Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation gave the City of Marianna Fire Rescue a $25,000 grant, which was acquired by Marianna Fire Chief Byron Bennett. Chief Bennett used the money to purchase 17 sets of "top of the line," head-to-toe bunker gear. The grant was 100 percent funded with no match required from the city. On Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the City of Marianna Commission Meeting, Chief Bennett presented a appreciation plaque to the Marianna Firehouse Subs' General Manager Joe Casper and area representative Chris Holmes.
