​Employer pays employee only insurance premiums for health, dental and life.  Employee has option to purchase dependent coverage.

4) Uniform Allowances
  • Fire certified officers - uniform allowance of $200 annually received
  • Police certified officers - uniform allowance of $75 quarterly received

5) Employee Birthday Leave

Employee receives one day off during the month of his/her birthday.

10 paid holidays, which are the following:
  • New Years Day - January 1st
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day -  3rd Monday in January
  • Good Friday - Friday Before Easter
  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
  • Independence Day - July 4th
  • Labor Day - 1st Monday in September
  • Veteran's Day - November 11th
  • Thanksgiving Day - 4th Thursday in November
  • Friday following Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day - December 25th
  • Such other holidays as determined by the City Commission
