Shamrock Shenanigans

It’s Back! The St. Patrick’s Day Event is BACK! Main Street Marianna would like to invite you to join us for Shamrock Shenanigans which will include several events throughout the day on Saturday, March 13th.

The first event of the day is the Shamrock Shuffle which is The Race for the Rest of Us at 10:00 am. This is 0.5K is a fun run event where there are stations set up along Market Street from Caledonia to Madison Street with activities to enjoy. Pre-registration is $35 and registration the day of is $40. Pre-registration is recommended to ensure you receive a t-shirt. After the race be sure to bring your team to Madison Street Park and enter the Leprechaun Leap, also known as the Fire Truck Pull. This event will begin at 11:30 am and will see which 10-person team can pull the Engine 15, 20 feet the fastest. Registration for each team is $100. Pre-registration is recommended, and waivers must be completed before competition begins.

Also, at Madison Street Park will be Gold on the Green at 12:30 pm. This putting competition will see who can make a Hole-in-One and will have prizes for the winners. $5 per putt.

Several food vendors and children’s activities will also be in Madison Street Park starting at 11:00 am in addition to our Farmer’s Market who will be open at 8:00 am.

All proceeds from the day’s events will go towards updating the Christmas decorations in downtown Marianna, so join us on Saturday, March 13 beginning at 10:00 am.
